Description
Elexir Pharma’s vegan vitamin D3 is a dietary supplement with vitamin D extracted from lichen that grows naturally on rocks and boulders.
Vitamin D3 is formed in the skin when it is exposed to sunlight, and since the sun during most of the year and day is not high enough in the Nordic region, an intake of vitamin D through dietary supplements is recommended. Vitamin D3 is especially recommended for vegans, as vegan diets have very few natural sources of vitamin D.
