BioCell Collagen + Hyaluronic acid contains a combination of hydrolyzed collagen type 2, chondroitin and hyaluronic acid. Collagen type 2 is the predominant type of collagen in human articular cartilage. BioCell Collagen is a clinically tested ingredient that mainly contributes to active joints, firmer skin and strong connective tissue. BioCell Collagen + Hyaluronic acid promotes the mobility of the joints, helps to counteract both natural and premature aging of the skin and prevents stiff, painful joints and muscles.
Collagen type 2: Found mostly in skin, bone tissue & connective tissue. The body’s production decreases with age. About 1/3 of the body is collagen. Production is reduced by sunlight and also drastically after menopause. Type 2 is the variant that mainly occurs in cartilage tissue, is more precious than other forms.
Hyaluronic acid: Can bind more water than any other molecule in the body, which is important for the production and maintenance of collagen and cartilage. Can absorb approx. 3000 times its own weight in water. Important for well-moisturized skin, a function that also decreases as we get older.
Chondroitin: Building block for cartilage. Good supplement for joint problems and wear and tear. Necessary for the cartilage tissue – supports and rebuilds the cartilage in the joints.
BioCell Collagen is manufactured through a patented process where the molecular size of the ingredients is reduced, for faster and better absorption in the body. Many other collagen supplements are not hydrolyzed, resulting in the molecular size being too large for the body to absorb.
Dosage & use
Recommended daily intake for adults:2 capsules daily with meals.
