Elexir Collagen is a 100% pure collagen product. The collagen is extracted from wild-caught fish (collagen type I) from the North Atlantic. The fishing is controlled and follows the EU’s directive on responsible fishing with regard to sustainable fish stocks. Elexir Collagen is hydrolysed for better bioabsorption in the body and is easy to dissolve in water, juice, smoothie or other liquid of your choice.

Collagen is a protein that builds up skin, bones and tendons, among other things. Collagen, in turn, consists of different amino acids in varying compositions, and it is estimated that there are as many as 16 different types of collagen in our body. The most common are collagen type I and type III, which occur mainly in hair, skin, nails, muscles and bones.
